Dorothy Asbury Park Concert reviews
BNL Great, Ben & Guster not so much
"I thought the show was a disappointment due to the brevity of Dorothy's set, which was only about an hour and 15 minutes. Ben Folds, while having a lot of fans in the audience, just droned on and on in his performance. It felt like a jam session by a few 40-year-old neighbors in a garage at times. I was OK with Guster's performance, although I didn't recognize any songs. Overall, I would have been happy to pay the same $50 ticket price for BNL to play longer without an opening act. Last year, they had Blues Traveller as the opener, which was a great combo!"
